Sunday Post – Book Blog Oct. 9

The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.

I’ve officially completed my first week of book blogging!! Thank you to everyone who has read and interacted with my posts this week. I hope to meet a lot more book bloggers as I integrate more with the community. ♥️

For anyone who may have missed them, here are my blog posts for the week. I’ve been trying to figure out the daily memes and I might have missed a couple of them:

I’m enjoying getting to know more readers and discovering a lot of new books. Most of the people I know offline don’t read very much at all and they can’t relate to my love of all things bookish.

So far this month I haven’t finished any of my spooky books, although I’m about halfway through three different books right now. I finished The Wicked King last night and I’m trying not to jump straight into The Queen of Nothing because I have so many other reads ongoing!

As for a personal update, we had our first big freeze here last night. When I woke up this morning, the house was quite chilly, but it’s going to get up to almost 80F/26C again this week so I’m going to leave the heating off for a while yet. Instead I’m wrapped up in my electric blanket looking forward to a cozy day of reading, playing Stardew Valley, and watching a spooky movie later!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week and you’ve got another ahead. Please feel free to reach out, comment, connect with my on other bookish socials any time! 💜

    1. Thank you! I am planning to try NetGalley at some point! Maybe after I build up my socials a little bit more. I’m impressed that you can keep up with blogging with the kids! I have trouble keeping up with just work 😅

  1. Happy first week of blogging! I think a lot of us have the same situation- not a lot of “real life” people are big readers but the book blog community is an awesome group to join! Hope you have lots of fun!
