Currently Reading
I regret to inform that I am still reading Mexican Gothic. I’m probably 60% of the way through and I’m just… not feeling it? Yes, it’s atmospheric and creepy, but there’s somehow not much happening this far into the book. Maybe I don’t have the patience to enjoy this one.
I opened a NetGalley account this week and The Naughty or Nice Clause was one of the read now options. I needed something lighthearted after my most recent read, so I thought a Christmas book as in order. I may have also been influenced by other bloggers here reading a lot of Christmas books. 😅 I’m about 15% of the way through now, but the odd thing is I have no idea if this book is like a wholesome, cozy Christmas book or if it’s erotica.
I do know it’s an enemies to lovers trope taking place in the workplace, but I’ve picked up some odd dialogue that makes me think it’s going to end up being spicier than I thought when selecting it, haha.
I’m also still working through ACOTAR. I haven’t been able to read much so far this week because I’m dealing with sinus headache issues, but hoping to get through both of these this week.
Finished Reading
I finished Mexican Gothic and Lapvona within the past week. I’m going to have reviews for both books in my blog this week. My review of Mexican Gothic will be posted Thursday and Lapvona will be posted Friday. I’ll give a hint though- one I didn’t like very much and the other I’m still thinking about days after finishing it!
Reading Next
Oddly enough, I’m not sure what’s up next for me. I usually have my TBR planned out pretty well, but I might throw that out the window if I get a book request approved from NG. I have a couple more books on my spooktober TBR list. I’m not sure what I’m in the mood to read next so I’ll probably be checking out other bloggers’ WWW today and seeing if anything piques my interest!

Ha! It’s funny that you can’t tell if the book is spicy or more wholesome. That fits with the title – Naughty or Nice. Whichever it is, I hope you enjoy it. And hope the sinus headache is gone!
