Sunday Post || Sunday Salon – Book Blog Oct. 30

The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead.  The Sunday Salon is hosted by Readerbuzz and also gives readers and non-readers a chance to catch up with each other on their week!

Happy almost Halloween, dearest reader friends! Do you like my spooky themed manicure this week? 🪦 🎃🖤 I’m closing out a month of horror movies and spooky reads. I’ve watched a horror movie almost every night this month. My husband and I alternate on picking a movie each night and it’s a lot of fun for us!

For anyone who may have missed them, here are my blog posts for the week. I don’t have that many this week because we were SOO busy at work. I couldn’t even keep up with reading.

Upcoming this week in my blog I’ll have:

  • The usual book memes (goodreads Monday, top ten Tuesday, www Wednesday, etc). Hoping to keep up better this week!
  • I’m hoping to finish and review The Last Housewife
  • Possibly an October wrap up or a November hopefuls list

Question of the day: What is your final read of October this year?

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week and you’ve got another ahead. Please feel free to reach out, comment, connect with my on other bookish socials any time! 💜

  1. Yes, those fingernails are very holiday-themed, though really spooky would be another thing — maybe blood dripping? I’m glad you went for cheerful.

  2. I can’t believe we are at the end of October, I have not read anything spooky/gothic really, not like I had intended. I still hope to get to On the Cliffs of Foxglove Manor by Jamie Jo Wright, it’s got spooky/gothic vibes!

  3. My husband and I have watched quite a few thrillers this month, but we haven’t really watched any horror. I always want to watch one each night, but it wasn’t meant to be this year. I’m glad you were able to do that with your husband and had fun doing it! 😀

    1. I totally get that! We like to do this every year as a Halloween season tradition, but we’ve had years where we’ve only managed to watch a few. I hope you’ve enjoyed the thrillers you’ve watched though!
