Happy WWW Wednesday. This weekly prompt is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Each week we’ll answer three reading questions. Feel free to leave your answer in the comments, or a link to your own WWW Wednesday post if you have one! 😊
The three questions are:
• What are you currently reading?
• What have you finished reading?
• What will you read next?
Currently Reading
I’m still working on finishing up one book from October, but I’ve already picked The Handmaid’s Tale as my first new read of November and I’m 10% of the way through it now!

I’m over halfway through The Last Housewife now. It is good so far, but I’m reading it pretty slowly because the content is heavy/disturbing so it’s not something I’m finding myself wanting to reach for as much at the moment. With midterm elections coming up, I thought it would be a good time to read The Handmaid’s Tale. I’ve heard really good things about the show, but I want to read the book first because I know I’lll never read the book if I see the series beforehand.
I guess both of my current reads are pretty heavy now that I’m thinking about it. The casual, almost mundane way Atwood wrote about daily life for Offred and the others in Gilead is so unsettling and impactful I think.
Finished Reading
I most recently finished Song for the Unraveling of the World which is a speculative fiction/horror short story collection that I started at the beginning of October. It was really good but like a disturbing fever dream. I also finished my first NetGalley ARC and reviewed that last week: Book Review: The Naughty Or Nice Clause
Reading Next
I’m honestly not great about sticking with my monthly TBR lists, but I enjoy making them anyway. It at least gets me somewhat organized on what I’d like to read so that if I find myself struggling to figure out what to read next during the middle of the month, I can just go back to my TBR from the beginning of the month.

Feel free to leave your links in the comments ♥️
Have you read any of my WWW books? What did you think?
